Very hard to find solid info for vanilla prices of this pattern, it is the rarest pattern in the game. Completionists on live(WoD) pay INSANE amounts for it but obviously this is vanilla. The item it crafts isn't that good, people pay for its rarity

Probably not even that much, i dont think anyone cares for rare useless stuff here. Same with Schematic: Arcane Bomb, rarest engineering schematic and it costs a few golds

probably not worth the 15g tho, this isn't retail patterns like Rich Purple Silk Shirt(100k worth on retail) go for 1-2g here.

Star belt is actually very op cloth belt with spell power that can last till 60. Especially now when spell power is so hard to find its pretty good, just look for cloth waists on vanilla db and you will know what i mean. The recipe is also very rare and id say it cost more than rich purple shirt for sure. It surely has nothing to do with the retail prices. Also comparison with arcane bomb is irrelevant, since it has almost no practical use duo its super expensive crafting price.
