It should be there automatically, if you target yourself you wont see the target of target frame.

sadly not, the information is extremely hard to pull

wouldn't it be a case of doing a /who on people's names and building a list?

Sure, but that list could get pretty big pretty quickly — also not yet figured out how to run a /who in the background in terms of API (for instance to also capture the current total users online), though I assume it's possible

there's a way to have it only show up when the chat has been scrolled up — i'll add it next update, it'l be a nice indicator to reduce the number of times i leave chat stuck scrolled up half a page or so.

It would also be a nice touch to be able to have the health bars be class colored rather than the name background.

Also any idea why friendly nameplates aren't working for class colors?

Class colors in friendly nameplates was scrapped, if you read a few pages back. Class colors in the health bars looks horrible imo, and it would mess up the gradient. It's pretty easy to change this in the lua though to suit personal preference.
