Shift + M

Doesn't do anything for me. Is that supposed to be a default blizzard shortcut?

I know it was only posted 4 years ago, but afaik, this functionality has been in the client since vanilla days. Not sure exactly what patch.

also is there a way to have the enemy nameplates "pop up" sooner? is there a range requirement or something holding it back in vanilla? thanks!

Cool, can't believe I never knew about this. It's called "Toggle Battle Map" in the keybindings by the way, under "Interface Panel Functions", for those who've accidentally unbound it like me.

This ui is simply glorious, it's amazing in so many ways. So thankful for what you did master Mordernist-senpaichi.

Great addon.

I got one issue tho, the Tooltip keeps sticking to the right corner.

With my UI (ViroUI) it keeps "following" my mouse and adjusts itself, I don't know how to really describe that.

Here are 2 screenshots;

I love the moving Tooltip of ViroUI and also the smooth round border of ModUI.

Both combined don't work and I can't fix it :l

Thanks everyone for playing on Nostalrius, it was the best WoW experience in a long time.

Is the addon author still visiting this thread/updating? I have a couple unanswered questions about this awesome UI

say it isn't so! This UI is so helpful and clean I love it!

Well, I will ask my questions again here and maybe a fellow user can help...

1) Does alt clicking in the AH UI link items in the search field? I can't get alt-clicking to work with the AH.

2) Any way to get enemy nameplates to "pop up" sooner? Any way to add more trackable debuffs to them? Currently I only see gouge duration/icon tracking on the top of the nameplates. I want to track CC on the nameplates (and important debuffs if possible). Thanks!

i'll add an option to in the next update

okay there's now an option to toggle between the status text styles — the button is located in the interface menu panel.

functional limitations means it needs to reload the ui afterward, you should hardly notice it after closing the panel on the Nost servers though.

This option won't popup for me, I've tried reinstalling several times, trying different methods but it will not show up.

For those interested in using the excellent nameplates from modui with other unitframes, here's how I managed to get it working. This is sort of a hack and it isn't ideal, but it works perfectly for me without any errors or conflicts.

Basically, modui used to be more... modular. Before the options menu was added, the components were almost completely independent. So I downloaded the version of modui preceding that change, and deleted all components except the nameplates.

1. Download modui version 56.5 from the Git repository by clicking "Download zip" at this link : https://github.com/obble/modui/tree/fdf ... 330547002b

2. Unzip the folder in to your Addons folder, and rename it to just "modui". Then delete everything within the folder EXCEPT: globals, libs, nameplate, statusbar, and modui.toc.

3. If you've previously used other versions of modui (try the most recent release before resorting to this!), find the modui settings in your WTF folder and delete them.

4. Launch WoW and enable the addon--it's called "ui".

That's it. There are no chat commands or configuration options. Since this is an older version of modui, the cast bar almost certainly will not work as well as it does in the latest release (though in my limited testing it has worked quite well). Therefore you should only use this method if you're experiencing intractable conflicts between the full version of modui and some other addon(s) that you can't bare to lose.

Note: This version predates aura tracking on nameplates, so you won't see buffs/debuffs as you do in the most recent release. It displays only combo points and enemy cast bars.
