I just got this, don't know how and why though.

Code: Select all
Error:  attempt to compare nil with string
AddOn: LunaUnitFrames
File: units.lua
Line: 531
Count: 1

I was in a raid when this happened.

Hi Rhena, how many buffs are visible at target frame in this verison? 16 or more?

If possible, how do I do it ?

Doesn't he manually change the blizzard bar textures though, and not default ones? I'm not adept on .lua coding but I did play around a bit with some stuff including LUF. A theory of mine would be to:

1. Implement these textures manually (as in not in the addons folder, but interface folder). Since they should be overriding the Blizzard bar textures.
2. Then using Blizzard bar if that's a texture option in LUF. If it's not an option, you could find an addon that does include the default blizz bar in it's textures, then copy over that and import it into LunaUnitFrames\media\textures, and overwrite it with a name of one of the existing textures in that addon. One that you don't use.
3. Test it out and apply that blizzard bar while in game with /luf menu.

Something to note. SantaUI overwrites default blizzard textures and frames through Interface, and is not technically an addon. It is also dated for WotLK afaik. So if you have issues, the author of LazyPig made a similar one: https://github.com/satan666/UI-TEXTURE-PACK

Seems very similar so perhaps he just backwards engineered it or straight out took it. I for one know the github one works (or did when I tested a week or so ago). However, how it will work with my theory on applying such textures with LUF is something I do not know the outcome of. So backup ur Interface, WTF and Font folders if you have such, as you could potentially end up with bugs you don't want.

Another possible solution is that I send you a texture pack I found laying around in certain UI packs. It's very similar to ElvUI/TukUI (the originals, never tested the one for vanilla). I already put it in my edit of LUF's nice addon, was eventually gonna make my own UI pack to upload here but someone pointed out there are enough similar UI packs here so was just gonna use it for personal use x) But if none of the above works I could pm you my thing (sounds dirty aw ye) and you can see if it's the texture you want or not.

No idea about limit but if I read the code correctly? it should be 12 per row, so perhaps it can stack up to more than one row, so having 12 + 4 should be a bit weird looking, so hopefully it supports more than one row as it would make sense it would have up to 24 or more then. :p

Nice try :P But LUF shows all buffs the client allows it. Which should be 32. The size slider determines how many are shown per line.

@kutsal: Do you have the pet group enabled? Are you on version 2004?

Yes I had pet group enabled and am using 2004 version.

AFAIK it didn't break anything but just posting here in case you might find the problem to it.

Hi. I just came across this brilliant addon and have just started using it as I'm going to be healing and I was looking for something with as much built in healing functionality as possible. This seems to cover most things for me, so thank you.

I was just wondering however if there is a way that I can still select a party member with a left click with click casting assigned to the left mouse button. I'm thinking by pressing, shift and clicking or alt clicking etc. I'm also looking for a similar solution with right clicking my own portrait for things such as leaving group, loot rules etc.

Apologies if it's already been mentioned, but I have looked in this thread and the other but didn't see anything that might help.

Thanks!

Bind "target" or "menu" to any button combo you like.

Thanks Rhena, I now have them set to my two extra buttons on the top of my Naga.

Loving the addon, some great work there.
