Can't sign into game, but can on website

I haven't played since early summer but after returning from a long absence I find myself unable to sign into my account. It says unable to connect even though I'm sure I've got the credentials right and my brother can sign into his account on my computer just fine. (i've tried on different computers / installs and it's my account that seems to be the issue)

I'm able to sign into the Nostalrius website and it says nothing of being banned (or any other unusual indicators) but I haven't even been playing for the last 8 or 9 months so I'm very surprised that even after changing my password I still can't log in.
