Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Today I've been having trouble with high latency, I'm not sure if it's the nostalrius server or my own ISP but either way, I've been disconnecting a ton today.

Today I was in WSG, I had solo queued because I assumed I was likely going to get deserter and I didn't want to hold up a premade group. I suffered one of these high latency disconnects inside of the flag room as the game started. Upon logging in I had obviously died and returned to the graveyard (The game was 1-2 vs 10 afterall due to the current queue system.) and there were 2 or 3 alliance gathered around me. I had enough time to tell them I was lagging before I was disconnected again...

Upon logging in I was greeted by this screen: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/bow ... .49.39.png I've put an unhealthy amount of effort into this server so to read that was quite a shock.

Now I realize that's a short ban, but I'm trying to rank to Warlord this week and I can't afford that delay...is it really cheating with how unplayable this current battleground system is, to disconnect in a 2 vs 10 WSG game? Even if I wasn't disconnected I would have went and chilled with the alliance anyway, the outcome would have been the same.

Permabans say "expires on..." the time they're issued. You have to account for France time.

I have known healthycow for years outside of the game. He has very crappy internet from the most remote areas of Canada. He doesn't cheat, he wasn't attempting to exploit any disconnecting from games or anything like that, he drops from any game we play constantly.

Do the right thing, don't ban one of your most time invested fans for meaningless reasons.

Were you doing any sort of actions that might trigger a false positive? I.e. getting MC'd through a portal or going on the Grom'gol -> UC zep?

There was a priest standing near me that might have done it while I was disconnected. And to be honest I wouldn't blame them for wanting to give me deserter lol

Well, if you're actually legit not cheating in this case, I guess they made a moosteak. Hopefully this gets sorted out soon.
