On a drunken night a while back, I created a bank toon on a secondary account and moved some gold and valuable items over to be stored there. The next day, I took a business trip that kept me away from the game for two weeks. During that time, I completely forgot what account name I used.
I asked a friend and fellow player what I should do regain access to the account. He told me that it was actually against the rules to have a secondary account. I was surprised by this because I know so many people that have their alts on secondary accounts. I didn't want to get in trouble, so I decided to just mark the incident as a devastating loss and move on.
After some contemplation, I have decided to bring this to a GMs attention. While I now know that a secondary account is against the rules, I didn't at the time of its creation. I hope you can see that this was an honest mistake.
Would it be possible for you to help me regain access to the account? My plan is to simply remove the items I stored there and forget about its existence.
