Disconnecting and getting suspended/banned?

I'm confused as to what just happened now. I logged onto my priest, iamthepriest, got disconnected after a few seconds. Figured it was my internet acting up again, and tried again. Third attempt to get back on was rewarded with an account suspension notice.
What'd I do to get banned?
EDIT: Do not give out your account name on the forums, character name is enough
