Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Whenever I try to log into the server I am prompted with a message that starts like this:
"This world of warcraft account has been closed..."
My account name is: doipyyy
I've only been playing for a few hours and have only had the account for about a day so I really don't see why or how I could have been banned.

When I try and log in it goes to handshaking then disconnects. When I try after that it pulls up the account has been closed thing.
I should have mentioned this before. I've also tried the different fixes listed on the forums but I'm having no luck at all.

I was helping him out yesterday and he did nothing wrong, now it says his account has been banned, and he is unable to connect when he tries to login. I was with him the entire time he was online and he didn't do a single thing ban worthy.

I have one character on the account:
He is a level 7 troll priest by the name of Doipy.

Hi,

You should be able to login and play on the account. The character "Doipy" is not banned nor is the IP associated with the account.

I'll dig further into this and get back to you once I have some more details.

Thank you for the help. I didn't think I would be banned It must be a problem with my game files that isn't allowing me to log on.

I'm almost certain that this is client related.

Do the following and you should be good to go:

set realmlist login.nostalrius.org
set realmname "Nostalrius Begins"

download a new client - refer to:

http://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=638

I have tried numerous times to reinstall the game as well as replace the realmlist and everytime it has failed to fix the problem.
