Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Greetings Nostalrius!

<Sons of Griswold> is not a guild with a lengthy history. A collection of old-school fanatics with collectively thousands of raids behind our backs we came to Nostalrius to re-live the experience of the game when it was a lot simpler. That may be the best way to describe many of us.

Luckily many of us are now older, more organized and more resourceful in organizing and executing raids. Information on the gear that is good and bad is well available and encounter strategies are trivial compared to what many players have encountered in the past. That is why we are looking not for the greatest or best players, but the most stable and reasonably performing ones. We're not asking you to be the best, we're asking you to be above average and continuously strife to be better than you already are.

Our raid schedule is not set in stone yet. Our raiding times will likely be between 19:00-23:00 CEST on wednesdays and one or two more days depending on member attendance.

So A few simple bullet points on what we'd like to find:

• Healers

Every guild needs them, we do too. Every class is still necessary and we'll consider you if you're still in the leveling process(at least lvl 50)

• Damage dealers

Besides warriors we still have room for most classes(within the scope of what are considered optimal damage dealing classes). This means Frost mages, Rogues, Warlocks, Hunters and the likes are all still wanted. If you are a warrior feel free to ask for available spots anyway because there's always going to be some chances in a 40 man raid that someone drops out.

• Tanks

We have an ample supply of tanks. We are willing to consider exceptional cases however we are as good as done with our tank recruitment.


Other than that we would like you to be:

1. Active
2. Have a reasonable mastery over the English language
3. Willing to use the mandatory addons for raiding
4. Willing to put in effort to obtain items outside of raids
5. Willing to spend a few coins on enchants/consumables(it's not self explanatory to everyone!)
