Unfortunately, I'm established on the PVP realm and I'm not leaving all of that behind to play on the PVE realm that I'd prefer to. I will be playing a Hunter, at release, for fun though. What are some good practices to get established faster? I've always been late to the party, there's at least some bags, crafted gear, and cheap greens in the auction house to make leveling easier.

Should I bother with professions? Vendor everything? Feed someone free materials for favors later?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I always used these guides in vanilla. They are free. Would take like 3-4 days game time to level. "James leveling guides" after 10-30 depending on faction. Until then leveling is easy and you do nor really need a guide. Oh and hunter should have no problem soloing anything here. There might be 1-2 quests that are different, but I used this on the pvp server, because I had never played alliance in retail (I was always horde).

If you really need a gudie from 12-20 (no one should need one from 1-12) here you go.

Roll my usual Night Elf hunter, Female this time for a change.
Gonna take it slow, see the sights.

At level 10 instead of taming the usual spider, nightsaber or run to Dun Morogh for a boar I might take a stroll down to Mulgore, see if Rake is there, or failing that a nice stripey Durotar Tiger.

How many Boars would we need to kill?

65,340,285, which should take 7 weeks, 5 days, 13 hours and 20 minutes, giving 3 hours a night to sleep.
