So you transfer over your level 60 with all your gold and epics, and then what? You already have your toon max lvl, you probably have most of the gear you need, you won't need any gold for a while. What would you do that couldn't be done on the pvp server?

Lot of people wants to transfer to pve becaues all they experience from a pvp realm is frustration caused by other players. (Ie: gankers)
So I suggest to consider allowing the transfer with strict limitations:
- reset professions
- no gear at all, they have to buy or farm their gear again
- limited money (like 50g)
- no mounts
- transfer is pvp->pve only
- one character / account
- allow transfer only when a certain amount of lvl 60s are allready present on the pve realm (ie: 20% of the population or similar)

No to transfers. If you don't want to level + grind gear again, stay on the PvP server.

Were there any option to choose between pvp and pve realm?
No.
So now at least give people a one time opportunity to choose.

A fresh start is what attracts many people (such as myself) to the PvE server. Allowing transfers would ruin this for many people. IF they ever allowed transfers it would have to be well down the line when they PvE server timeline lines up with the PvP one. Even then I don't think this is something they will ever do.

So you want to throw off progression races and realm firsts because youre lazy? The devs have already stated they are not going to allow transfers. Accept it and move on.

A fresh start is the only reasonable way. Transfers should come when the servers are in the same patch and equal progression and even then only with limited money, soulbound gear and quest reward stuff.

They can now choose by re-rolling on a new server. How would it be fair for those that transfer vs those that start for the first time? Think beyond your selfishness.

Yup. Choose to stay on the pvp server and play your lvl 60, or start at lvl 1 on the pve server.
