PVP vs PVE differences

What are the differences? Are there only related to PVP/PVE rules or content wise also?

The only difference will be the lack of a persistent PvP flag, in contested zones.

The PvE server will also be several patches behind the PvP server, with them most likely being timelined similair in either x amount of months inbetween patches, or alternatively, x amount of months upon raid clears.

Which is sort of good, to an extent. I'd imagine in several months when PvE gets BWL, it won't have the server stability destroying bugs the PvP server had.

So, should I wait for PVE or just play on PVP if I don't mind PVP rules?

PVE players are generally nicer and more mature.

Your choice.

The Cons of rolling on the PvP server is;
Plenty of ganking going around, can be disruptive.
Majority of levelling players are between 10-40, making 40-60 levelling a little bit harder in terms of groups.
Raid guilds are recruiting specific classes at this point, so PvE requires more work to get noticed. If you PvP, You'll be good.

The Cons of rolling on the PvE server is;
Nobody can confirm how good it is in population and such.
Everybody will be fighting over quest mobs and items for the first month or so.
Nobody is established, so how the PvE and PvP scene will be is up in the air.

There are rotten apples. Both PVP and PVE communities have them unfortunately. :roll:

Waiting less than a week for a completely fresh start seems like a no brainer to me if you don't already have high level characters on PvP server.
