Elwin has NOTHING on darkshore.
Its so rainy there one time I was listening to the gentle pitter-patter of precipitation in the forest... and it wasn't even raining

It may seem kind of brutal, but I've found that force-quitting the client (Alt-F4 in Windows, Command-Option-Escape on Mac) and then relaunching usually shuts off the downpour.
