Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello there,

My friend decided to play on nostalrius, however he wants to play with me, and i am currently playing on the pve server as alliance, he wants to play both pvp and pve ( more on pvp side ). My question is: would playing on the PVE server hurt him, would there be no pvpers in pve server to play with ?

World PvP will be limited since ppl can choose wether to be flagged or not.
But battlegrounds are on everyday, and even premades occasionally. So there's definitely alot of PvP going, just mainly limited to BGs.

To avoid opening another thread, if I am in a BG (PvE server) and the batte ends, am I going ot be flagged when I leave the BG?

Yes you will be flagged when you leave the BG, but it will wear off after 5 minutes without any PvP action

This is a PvE server. Which means that a large number of players consider the PvP aspect of wow on this server a much lower priority than on the PvP server. It results in very limited PvP actions possible on the server and on the ones that are possible (BG) you can expect problems with low/inadequate Horde/Alliance balance etc.
Reading the pre-server release forum posts, the biggest issue was the WPvP aspect, (mainly ganking/griefing, but not only that).
The PvE aspect here (IMHO) works wery well, leaving the PvP aspect somewhat in shadow.
Also the much lower player base (compared to the PvP server) is not ideal for PvP activity.
