I think this debate has taken a wrong turn. Let's be real.

Nobody here cares about where people are from. The issue at hand comes in two parts.

1) language barrier

- most chinese players do not speak English. They have no way of communicating with our playerbase and will therefore isolate to themselves as a subcommunity within the server.

2) massive floodgates

- chinese people are making very elaborate recruitment threads specifically for chinese people that can't read or communicate in English. They are giving this information to a country of 1,3 B people.


You think it's getting laggy now? This is only the beginning. Personally I am getting a little tired of dying to NPCs that aren't loading for me. I don't care where people are from, but if they can't follow an English guide on how to connect they should not be playing.

Well i mean, grats on the records GM's! but really, you're making thier lives harder by making new fourms of these now a guy has to get on and Lock this shit and move it. Although i agree the lag is hell, well i mean better lagging like hell on a pop server then okay on a low pop server. Go PVE server if you can't handle it untill it gets better sure it's horrible and unplayable but we've been on the same game for years.

For me, this is the biggest problem. They add nothing to my experience, except for the random one I run into who is actually awesome with their broken english.

I spam zones for finding groups. Over 50% of responses are blank spaces or "No English".
Thanks for playing the MMO with me, was a great social experience.
