Can you show me where it is said that they will open another server? Did they or they will transfor the pvp vanilla server to a tbc server?

They made an official post about it somewhere, the vanilla server will stay intact but you will have the option to transfer your character to the TBC server. A timeline is useless because we're already off track of what they proposed initially. Some time after Naxx it'll happen

I'm not a big fan of divide the community in each server per each expansion pack they release. What big changes have TBC? It stills having this old school and non casual essence like vanilla?

By the way, this faq is from Nov 2014. I think that, TBC are a little bit far since today. I prefer they add more content, fix bugs and lag issues before opening another server.

Have they announced how moving chars will work - are you going to end up with two characters, one on the classic and one on the BC server, or are they going to deactivate your char on vanilla when moving over?

Hoping for the first out of these two alternatives; then I'd probably play both.

there have bee no additional announcements. A TBC realm will come eventually but there are no due dates for it as of this moment. No details regarding character transfers have been published either. There is still plenty of content to come for both the PvP and PVE realms, there is no need to worry about TBC.
