Haha - it's funny to see how PVP server peaks around 15:30, and PVE around 21:30.

I guess the PVP server holds a massive amount of Chinese players compared to the PVE one.

Assuming what you say about Chineses is right, even when the Chinese are sleeping, the PvP server triples or more the population over the PvE one.

You can go to a less populated server. There are more!

Some people likes high pop servers.

If the faction balances were better, it would be very good. Right now, horde is pretty thin on the PVE server.

What he means is obviously that the relative population of Asian players seems to be much higher on the PvP server. Which is consistent with what I've experienced on both servers so far.

Another thing that's also cool to see is the Chinese New Year celebrations. Population peak on the PvP server was much lower than usual the last 2 days.

Are there Chinese people? Yes
Are they the majority? No. Even during the period where chinese and other assians are sleeping ( 7PM-9PM European Zone, where in China is 2AM-4AM), the population is like 8k-9k, which is more than 2k-3k presumed chinese (these last numbers were took with the difference between the max pop rate, where europeans, americans and chinese play 10k-12k, and the time period where chinese are sleeping, where the population is 8k-9k).

So, we have this:

Europeans + Americans + Australians + South and Center Americans (8k-9k) + Presumed Chineses and other Asian nations such South Korea, Japan, etc (2k-3k) = 10k-12k.

I think that Chinese plus other Asian nations, are part of the population, but they are not the majority.

I never claimed anything like that, please reread my post.

All I said was, the relative population of chinese players is higher on the PvP server than the relative population of chinese players on the PvE server. Hence the different peak times in the plot. Was that clear now?

Yeah yeah, I said it because here there are some people who say that the main problem with server pop is because most of them are chinese people. But the fact is that, two days ago (7 Feb), I was playing at 9:00 PM European Time, and the population was like 9k-10k. Do you know what time was in China while I was playing? 4:00 AM in China. I do not really think that a lot of Chinese people play at 4:00 AM.

You can check it on https://nostalrius.pagekite.me/

And not only the 7th Feb. For example, if we check 31th Jan, we see the same patron: At 9:00 PM, we can see a population of 10,5k. And again, at this time in Europe, in China is 4:00 AM.

The point is, when the server pop reach its max population is during 3PM-4PM. But this is not because most of the population are Chinese, no, is because during this time Europeans, American, South American, Chinese and other Asian peolpe are playing. I mean, these are the hours where everyone plays. But you can notice that the Chinese population is 2k-4k when you analyze the population when they are sleeping, and again, this pop is between 8k-10k.

So, if we make numbers, we can say that Chinese, and other Asian people, because in Asia there are other nations, not only China, are 15%-25%.

So, no, they are not the majority.

Greetings,

Europeans are the largest player group. Asians are the second largest player group. North-Americans are the third largest player group.
