Hacked Accts used for goldselling

Hello,

This morning on the PvE server there were 3 or 4 named characters whispering us in the Barrens to sell gold. We think these were hacked accounts. This brings a few questions to mind:

1. Does Nostalrius wish to know when this occurs, and to send them the names of the characters?

2. How often is best to reset ones password?

3. Besides maintaining my antivirus software, is there anything specifically that you'd recommend to reduce the likelyhood of this happening to my character?

1. Yes, if you get whispers from a gold seller, make a GM ticket and list their name.

2. If your password is unique, ie you do not use it elsewhere, and is at least 7 letters long, you're safe.

3. Avoid downloading addons from sketchy sites, do not be tempted to download 3rd party software that promises the heaven and earth, not to mention dowloading a cheat/hack tool to just try it out for laughs.

4. Do not share your account details, even your account name, with anyone.
