Nostalrius Dev Team help us continue

by Moonrider » Sat Apr 09, 2016 12:51 am

Since the announcement of the end of Nostalrius various "saviors" have arisen promoting their willingness to succeed and host nostalrius.

The problem is that the players do not really have some valid evidence to which of these projects are legit and which are unreliable (.e.g scam or some people who were caught on the hype train and want to deliver something unrealistic).

Anyway whatever the case, I am sure the development team of Nostalrius will give up some easily on such a project and will try to find a proper successor. It would be nice to have some clarity on which of these projects are legit and in real communication with the Nost team, and probably if a suitable team is found to host Nostalrius, the data should not be public but only given to them (if of course the nostalrius dev team approves them as suitable succesors), so the community is not torn apart to various servers.

TL, DR: Dev team please tell us if you are in communication with any of the "savior" projects and their vailidity please :)

Agreed. I'd like us to transfer, together, to Nost 2.0, rather than splinter in to a thousand feenix's.

Please, for the love of Elune, don't let Feenix (or similar money-grabbing projects) within sight of the Nost code.
