NOSTALRIUS... my... NOSTALGIA :( ...

Fear is hardly a favorite of anyone... but sometimes, things fall apart and... you can't do sh*t

I started playing on Nostalrius in 2016. February, mid february to be exact . A friend of mine invited me.. He said: "Heyyy , you should join this awesome WoW server, it's about Vanilla!! The way it was! It's awesome! There are a lot of friends playing on it! And peeps from all over the world!".

... At the beginning I was wondering: should I play, or should I not? Fortunately, I did. I dwelled deeply into the... World of Warcraft: VANILLA!
I downloaded the necessary addons, and I started as a NE druid; I really enjoyed it, for the time being; I saw a vast majority of people around me. I WAS SO HYPED

At some point I said: I don't like this class , I have to play ay friging SHAMAN. ORC SHAMMY!
So I did. So I did... I started my orc shaman. Gosh, we fell in love instantly. Then I started to make a lot of gold. At level 28 I had over 50 gold !!!! People thought that I was scamming or hacking 'n shi*t like that.

To prove them wrong I made a youtube channel . Hell, it was cool. People enjoyed my vids, I started to get some subs and stuff. My friends were writing on my youtube vids, just for respect, so peeps can see that there is some interes in my stuff:)...

And then... I went to level 39. I did not wanted to hurry! I was PvP-ing all day. I wanted to "SMAAAAAAAAAASHHH ORC!".

And then ... Nostalriues announced that they were shutting the server down... I felt miserable for a moment.
I decided to quit WoW. For good.
Then I started watching Alexensual; Asmongold; Nixxiom....

And right now, I'm chilling here... and I know... that I won't experience nothing like Nostalrius... ever again.

I understand what you feel bro. Was the same for me. But unfortunately, i have entered in the hype train of elysium-project, and litle i did know what i was doing. Feel dumb for not to listen and even bash nostalrius in the fisrt time they tryed to alert us about that place inhabited by amateurs and liers, and i learned the hard way after myself be a victim of their amateurism...

Know i know that my True account was buried with nostaurius in the day of shut down. I was never in to private/community servers, but nostaurius showed me another point of view and give me the oportunity to experience vanilla wow again. And only will return to this scene if Nostalrius itself return one day...someday.

It wasn't as big of a joke as Nost's DM W scripting or taking weeks to fix the itemization that Elysium only took 24 hours to fix. And this was on the PvE server so there was no excuse.
