Lvling question.

Useless backstory:

I came back here after leaving the other vanilla people. The announcement of a PvE realm sealed the deal. Some lag wont deter me. I have only ever lvld a priest and I was considering a druid. I HATED lvling a priest, but loved group content so much that I dealt with it. Not to sound like a boaster but I found healing as a priest to be a good balance of easy and fun.

My question is this.
Will lvling a druid be noticeably faster/easier? I have always heard things like "I feel bad for you man, priest lvling sucks"

Im just curious is all. oh and if you are really feeling like Is warrior lvling bad? My old guildie QQ about it all the time.

Just play whatever you like most.

I personally see the hunter as the better class for quick leveling, as a BM your pet will be dealing a really nice amount of damage. You can also travel very fast until 40 with AotC wich saves lot of time. You are pet dependent, you can solo many mobs other classes can, and you can kite nicely. Damn, even PvP es great with a hunter xD

It'll be easier then a priest yeah, but as a healer it'll still be hard if you wanna solo alot.

People are different. I retail I levelled both a priest and a druid. I loved to level the priest, but druid got stuck at level 34 - it was a bore to play simply.

I levelled my priest on the PvP realm on 8 days 8 hours playtime (which isn't bad at all), and am now levelling a priest on the PvE server also. I just love it :-)

It'll be easier then a priest yeah, but as a healer it'll still be hard if you wanna solo alot.

Why exactly do you think priest sucks for (solo) lvling? You can specc full into shadow and leave just 5 points for imp. wand and you will still be able to heal any dungeon while soloing with ease...

I level up as Disc/Holy. Killing mobs takes a little longer than as Shadow, but this is compensated fine by having no downtime (no drinking between kills).

Im shadow and I dont have downtime either, I do what all shadow do I guess, cast a strong spell fallowed by swp and wand till he is dead, shield holds till mob die and mana will regenerate to next mob. If u realy wanna nuke something realy fast u also can. I prefer lvling as shadow.
And the best part is that u can kill any class of your lvl realy easy.

For me, hunter its the quickest class to level, fun to play in pvp outdoor, and AotC saves you lot of time until level 40
