About the recent scams

by zaco » Tue Jan 05, 2016 12:23 pm

In response to this thread where people are calling me a hacker : https://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=30737

To be clear: This is not a case of Zaco putting up 58g hitting accept, then removing gold and re-hitting accept, before I hit accept.

This is exactly what happened, as you can see here :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-HvOxVCztw&feature=youtu.be

There was no "hack" involved whatsoever, you only have yourself to blame if you got scammed because
this only works on retarded people.

And by the way you couldn't get banned for scamming in vanilla, I should know, I used to do it all the time back then.
And there was no delay on trades either, you just had to be careful when trading.
Oh well, I guess this server isn't 100% Blizz-like in the end, it's sad to see noobs get protected by the GMs.

Justice was served. Just because something is possible doesn't mean it is permittable. I find it particularly repulsive that you try to justify this behaviour, which you obviously know is contrary to a level of decency that anyone would agree upon. Fuck off and don't come back!

This doesn't prove jack shit, guessing you told him to do that for you to record the video.

Give us a video off the scam you did to the guy in the thread. Until then this is just bullshit.

There are only 2 sad things here.

1) The "noobs" will not have their gold returned.

2) If Zaco has a lvl 60 main, it is probably on another account and can just go on as if nothing happened since all that was lost was a rarely played lvl 19 that wasn't even a twink.
