A cry out for justice !

Hello Dear Tyrael and co.

now it has been over 2 weeks since the ban on Beskeremer. and had some hope that he will return to the server with his 5 60 char on the same ACC. I had the joy of playing with Beske. For the last couple of months and enjoyed an dedication to the game and help others before himself. And always tried to keep it fair for every single player on the realm gave ppl 2nd chance and it did not matter if it was Raids or just silly 5 man mans he always tried to improve and help ppl. then finally Christmas came and we were on Teamspeak having a great time farming nodes and some world pvp. You know just the random chill between raids. Then the server updated with with the notes we are now introducing the new node system. And we were like “let’s see that that works out “. And i went to SG because there is tons of nice nodes there. And he went to look for some thorium. So I came to SG and start looking for herbs and after a lot of fighting in Blackrock ….

well after I finally went to the my first node I was hearing from beske there might be something worng or a christmas event kinda joking abit about and discussing if it was to rebalance the prices on action house since it have been dominated by a few ppl. well either way I left my node after I had herbed it a few times and that is when I was thinking is this worng with every single herb so I went so some lesser importen herb to try it out and yes the 2nd herb was also not despawning. After I herb’ed that 4 times and was sure jup there is something worng. You made the GM warning and our guild master came online on TeamSpeak. And we told him about the issiue and he was and we got to the conculsion that we must need to make a Ticket Asap before its tolate so I made mine and beske made his. And in the end we where down to should we delete the herbs or keep them for show to the GM.
I was like well they can track my loot anyway to why not just delete the shit so it’s not a part of the game anymore. And beske said he will keep them so it didten look like he was going to hide something. Since he was really afraid of losing all he’s work for a silly bug when our guild bank is loaded. But either way Beske logged of and I stayed online and got a good service by an GM and I told him what happened. And he said you did everything right and the chance for you getting banned for that is minimal and I lived happily ever after <3..

then some hours later or was it a day I can’t remember Beske caught me online on TeamSpeak and told me he was banned without a warning and no chance for stating he’s case. I was kinda choke that something like that would happen since I have already seen stuff the forum where Gm’s said you will never get instant banned you will always have a chance to defend yourself. Well Beske never got the chance to defend his 4 lvl. 60 chars with 300 in prof on each = to a play time I don’t even want to think about.
Well me and Beske more or less did the same thing the only diff. was the I talked to a GM before the ban and he didten. I had a lot of faith in you guys before this happened and was and kinda still am very greatfull of the server and service you are delivering.

why do I post this? Because I have heard some a guildie that we got a threat from a GM and I don’t know he/she named that if we took this ban up again you will risk a ban. And that was when I was think what the hell have happened to Nos?! since when have a france server become a dictatorship based on fear.

know that it looks like he had mined it 30 times or so but that is not the case the mining failed multiple times because there was others on that “mine” and they are still on this server so the total or ore he got is way lower then you think….
But plz I beg you guys plz look at this again and tell me / us what beske did so worng in this case. Compared to others and reconsider he’s ban it hurts me to see him lvl up once again with a new warrior and then to be geared up once again. Just for picking up a thourim node and reporting it because a mistake was made. I want my warrior druid priest warlock buddy back.

Judging from this you're not the first one appealing for your friend. If this is the third or fourth time then you risk a ban on every account you own. Nostalrius does this because they don't want to waste the manpower to investigate the same case over and over again. Just because you're a different person doesn't mean the same case gets another investigation.

Nostalrius has always been a dictatorship. They own that right because this is their server.

They don't 'think' or 'assume' anything, they know exactly how much ore he has.

He probably exploited the node bug and didn't delete the ore he mined. According to the rules he will have no chance of appeal.

i totally get that the man power is limted. its crisis like theses where mistake where made. but i think banning a person with 4 chars with all prof. at rank 300 and does tons for the game communtie is ro rough when he didten even get a chance to defend him self but when ppl that are ACC sharing and does fare worse things get that 2nd chance to tell them why they did what they did. he mad a ticket and said he had the items in his bag and he ask if he should keep them there to show the GM that he is deleting the mats.

i mean just look at the pvp sceen there is so much acc sharing and illigal deals that is getting made behind the scens. Sniping others teams making deals about leave bg's so ensure the other team a win etc.

and ofc they own the server but i belive that the nos staff is friend ppl that want friendly help full ppl on the server and sort out the bad guys that only is here to flame, blame and shame.

i know that he have talked to a GM about how many ores he mined and the number the game said did not match at all becaus it counted every attempt he fail mining the mine as a loot. so it migh look like 80 but atucally its 20-30. beske made an acc and ask the GM once he got banned and they replied" you know that it wasnt only 20-30 ores you mined" and that just shows that server did not regerister the ores as they should.

my wish was just that they have been abit more smooth before throwing the ban hammer like a beseker in zg

Did he make an in-game ticket and talked to a GM? I think that´s a mistake. He should've went over to account issues and made a ban appeal over here: https://forum.nostalrius.org/viewforum.php?f=65

The only thing that bothers me is that there has never been a statement to 'delete all mined/herbed items'. From this perspective I think that Beskeremer did all the right thing after abusing the bug.

But then again, only after abusing the bug in the first place. Maybe Nostalrius is looking for people that don't exploit (even if it's available to them) and if they (accidentally) do, that they correct the mistake themselves immediately. When you look at it from this angle we see that he exploited a bug and he was punished for it, I think it was justified. People are only sorry because they get caught, if their motives were pure to begin with then they wouldn't have exploited in the first place.

Best of luck convincing the staff to get him unbanned, I think it would be a great achievement if you manage to do it.

Seriously? Since day 1. People have been getting banned for server bugs pretty much since the server opened. And half the idiots here ululated every time it happened, until it happens to them.

Nos doesn't have the manpower to investigate every incident and if they think you've done something wrong, no matter if it's not your fault, if it's Blizzlike, if it's a server bug, then they'll pretty much ignore any appeals. It's their prerogative to protect their server.

Your friend got Nostalrused and it's the price of playing here. I'm afraid your friend won't be getting his account back.

yea sadly but i thought maybe this could make them stop instant ban ppl becaus im sure if they had talk to him at GM island they would not have banned him now its just about not going back on thier words
