Trading gold from PvE --> PvP server. (GM PLEASE READ)

Hello, i have 300g on my PvE server char, and i would like to know (if im able to find some 1 who wanna trade), if its illegal to trade some gold on the PvE server, for some gold on the PvP server?

If it is, i dont wanna get banned. Thats why i ask cuz i cant seem to find anything in the rules about it.

I know its illegal to buy gold, and sell them. But Gold for Gold is an ingame thing right?

I was going to post a topic on this as well, as I am looking to move my PVP gold for PVE gold. It does not explicitly state in TOU this is illegal, but I can see how it could be considered under a gold selling/trafficking rule.

I've asked before regarding faction to faction transfers, I can't imagine realm to realm would be any different.

It's allowed, but they suggest you stick to the neutral AH because it's safer.

My take is, that would be gold trafficking. These are separate servers. It would be no different than asking, can I exchange my retail gold for nostalrius gold.

I think it would be more like trading gold on retail from one realm to another. They are both Nostalrius servers not from one game to another. Could still be considered gold trafficking though so would def wait for a gm to respond before doing it. If allowed I imagine it would be same as Blizz, they don't support it so if you got ripped off, it would probably be a loss for you.

Again, I would wait for a gm reply if there is nothing stated outright about this particular type of transfer.

Ya, I'd definately wait for an answer too, but they may not say anything. However, it is not the same as one retail realm to another. Firstly, these are different economies on different patches, if it were allowed you could manipulate one economy from another. Secondly, you can already transfer as much gold as you want from one retail server to another via pet selling (at least as far as I went MOP), and entire guild transfers; there's probably other ways available at this time too.

I'm not so sure. The amount of gold available on the server does not change, just who it belongs to.

I still think it will be considered gold trafficking if because of nothing else than it being difficult to determine whether it's a legitimate trade or gold selling, but I hope not.
