I have just realised that BC will be much more exciting for me, as id love to world pvp there with those outland objectives, and since the way of earning gear is much more simple and easy for a guild like mine, i think id much rather play there.
Well, its inevitable that most people really want to get gear, and since im leading a world-pvp guild, we will either have to get ourselves thrown into honor-grinding in bgs or pve stuff, so through our main action, we get no gain in power.
Although i truly dont mind having an army full of green-geared bloodthirsty orcs on my side, many people still appreciate gear. And the fear for DHKs in vanilla disturbs me as well on city invasions and such, as many of my comrades just gotta rank up to get at least some blues and the game turns against us at this point.
I think in tbc i wont have such issues, as earning gear is relatively less grindy, right? You can go to a bg and farm currency that wont go down because you dont focus on it, unlike vanilla where you soon start to get in danger of deranking, whereas for playing less it becomes impossible to earn stronger pvp gear. Whereas in tbc i think even a casual player can get the at-least proper pvp gear from battlegrounds, right?
Right now im having people passing on world pvp events cause "gotta farm some good honor this week" or leaving for PvE guilds cause they want proper gear.
Alright, enough rant, i wanted to ask, do you think the majority of vanilla players will copy their characters and mainly play in tbc, or do you think that vanilla nostalrius will end up still having a higher population?
