Gold seller whisper spam

I've been playing for around 3 hours and have literally gotten like 10-15 whisper spams from a gold selling website. All the characters are level ranges between 10-25'ish. Im guessing they are stolen accounts via key logger on the gold selling website. Anyone else getting spam whispers?

In recent days, we are overwhelmed by gold sellers spams:

- OVERflood in all chats
- Whispers ig
- mails
- ...

What does the Nostalrius staff planned to do for this cancer?

What can we do? I already made a macro for /ignore. But i can't ignore half of the server.
I also have dedicated a 1To hard disk for screenshots.

Gonna bump this thread. I could deal with the lag and the spam in general chat, but having to ignore these spammers is just too crazy. I really hope nost will deal with the china problem, there's a reason why other private servers (and retail mmo's) give chine their own region/server.

Please screenshot this when it happens, upload that screenshot to an image sharing site like imgur.com, and create an in-game ticket with a link to the screenshot.

General note: There is a flood of these due to the recent successful hacks, with one gold advertiser even boasting about how much gold they now have in stock. If you buy gold, you will be caught and not only are you contributing to the problem, but your account will be banned. As our tools improve, we retroactively scan for past gold purchases, so you would never be safe, ever. There is NO safe way to buy gold.

There is a working spam filter mod for Nostalrius' version of the game. If you have this mod installed and type "/st" in-game you'll be able to add new websites to the blacklist for filtering.

It even blocks spam for things like Thunderfury in general chat. Part of the reason I love it.

I hate to burst your bubble but there are many people who get away with it. I know people who've brought gold months ago who still have yet to be banned. You can't stop everyone. That being said, if you're dumb enough to buy gold off people who advert it then you're going to be banned.
