What it is not: 2 years of BWL.

Not being entitled or trying to be pushy here, but taking an extended break between AQ and Naxx would of been more appropriate. This extended content draught after BWL has been too common between private servers, and having AQ out at a reasonable pace would of put Nostalrius above all others in comparison to content progression.

The longer AQ takes, the more raiding becomes a battle of attrition much like MC -> BWL was.

In one month I won't want anything to do with ZG.

This extended delay is discouraging, but I'll dealwithit.

What it is not: 2 years of BWL.

This. Loads of servers have died waiting on AQ, but ZG and Nightmare Dragons are more than enough to keep players interested for 6 months or so, the problems occur when servers spend 1 year+ without a fresh 40 man raid.

Besides that, the Nostalrius population is so stable and established that even if it turns over before AQ the server will still be extremely healthy

the proposed timelines have all seemed a bit rushed to me anyway. it's about the experience and the ride along the way. where's the fun in racing to Naxx so everyone can 1 shot each other and have nothing to progress towards?

It's already superior to other private vanilla servers - with 10k players, a lot of people will lose interest but it will still be an active server, and with all the AQ hype most of them will come back anyway.
