And everyone would say, why? warrior is a killing machine.

Well, just wanted to point that:

- Leveling will be a nightmare.
- Totally gear-dependent. (you better be r14 geared otherwise you will be a lil useless)
- You can absolutely no solo play against any class, any child of 5 years old ,no matter how good you are, would solo you while doing /dance, specially frost mages.
- You can't enjoy bg without a healer on your back, since any caster class will 2shot you even being blue geared.
- Your making-money way is stupidly bad, you can't solo maraudon, you can't solo DM east.
- Adding to last sentence that Warrior is a class who needs to be constantly respeccing from PVP to PVE talents and viceversa, making the cost money a total madness.

Ending this, warrior is probably the most hardcore class to play on Vanilla, and if you are planning to make one, you better read all shit i posted. If you don't you will probably regret and desiring to delete your fully character after so much work.

Ty for reading.

Most class are good in some things and bad on others...
U say u gear dependent, casters just do more damage when they +spell power, mellees just need a better weapon and main stat, as u know int just increase mana pool
Warriors are bad againt classes that can kit u, thats true thats why u guys almost 1 shot people.
U cant solo maraudon? or DM east? So u prefer a hunter? Think about what hunters are bad then we talk if u still want.
About specs, is obvius if u play prot, u need respect if u want to pvp, if u were dps maybe u could do some pvp without specking.

I think u want being able to solo things like hunters, being able to escape like mages, a SP damage and healing and being able to tank and damage like a warrior. Wait for dks, we almost there

Most good guild do look for tanks. You should always look to upgrade every part of your roster, if you get continuously declined by raiding guilds, then maybe you should look into your own playstyle/binds/ui/addons in order to improve ^^

Yeah, and then you fight for loot against other warriors who are fucking horrendous 9/10 times. I quit this server mainly because of leveling a warrior, but also for other reasons listed below:

1) I played only warrior since WoW Alpha testing, and it's not even remotely fun here with half the server playing bad DPS warriors and pulling aggro in raids/5mans. I've seen more people blame myself/other tanks for doing bad, when they fucking can't even target the same mob I'm on. Don't even try arguing on this server though, because everyone has "played retail" yet they can't even answer basic questions about vanilla.

2) People on this server have such a rose-tinted outlook on shit like server issues and overall terrible attitudes/mindsets that showcase they never played true retail ....Who the fuck brags about winning a 1v1 in vanilla wow? People do here apparently like its meaningful. Another annoyance was the fact that the server is free and fanboys would use that angle to negate concerns from players about bans or the server being unplayable at times. People used the same fucking excuse on Feenix and where is that at now? TLDR Criticism is good, fanboys are bad.

3) Grinding to the top isn't fun when you can't PvP as melee due to the amazingly high response time during primetime (US west here). This is entirely on my end in a way, and I knew that playing here. I didn't expect it to be so bad though. All the gear you get is fucking pointless if the only thing you do is log in, go to instances, do shit, and log out/alt.

4) Guild Drama. Good fucking lord, guys. I've never seen so many virgins take a game so seriously at stages like the start of Molten Core. You'd think people would just relax and assign loot like rational people, but 9/10 guilds on this server are full of autistic 15-30 year olds (who almost always has some horrendous retail/shitty job and no college degree, or are army "bros") that are out to either shower themselves in loot or anyone who is willing to genuflect to them. At one point in my old guild, they basically tried to offer me officer to stop whining about how shitty their loot council system is. If you can't silence them, welcome them in I guess!

5) The people. Maybe it was my guild, but I quickly realized I had waaaay the fuck more going for me IRL than people did playing this. I'm 26 and in college, so I don't really want to sound like I had insane shit going on compared to others, but every time I logged on I noticed people would be logged in for several hours and then after a while I realized I was spending quite a bit of time online as well. Everyone I talked to was either in classes still or stuck in some shitty job, when I kinda had multiple opportunities IRL socially/academically. It also doesn't help that some of the people playing private servers are sketch as fuck..........All I'll say in closing is that during retail, I never had to hear dudes older than my dad talking about doing lines of coke at 3AM on Teamspeak with their family to keep raiding. Maybe that's something unique to here, IDK.

Sorry for the long read, but I figured someone would relate. If not fuck it, it only took 15 minutes to type.

P.S. The only reason I visit here is I still have a few friends who play here, and might return after I finish classes this Spring. That, and as a fellow admin/game dev it's entertaining to watch the admin's implementation of stuff, and how the community reacts to it.

Warriors are a more gear dependent class, the second part is just false. You're an idiot.
- You can absolutely no solo play against any class, any child of 5 years old ,no matter how good you are, would solo you while doing /dance, specially frost mages.
You're obviously shit at pvp.
- You can't enjoy bg without a healer on your back, since any caster class will 2shot you even being blue geared.
Still obviously shit at pvp.
- Your making-money way is stupidly bad, you can't solo maraudon, you can't solo DM east.
I think I said earlier that you're an idiot, right? You're an idiot.
- Adding to last sentence that Warrior is a class who needs to be constantly respeccing from PVP to PVE talents and viceversa, making the cost money a total madness.
Adding to last sentence, you're still an idiot.

Waaahh!

I dare you to level a Warlock and pick a fight with a Warrior who can merely jump into a stance that instantly makes your main CC utterly useless.

Cry more.

Sounds like you should look for a guild with bigger goals and better players ^^
