Yeah I bumped into a few cool Chinese players once or twice, but it has mostly been bad experiences. Usually a person contributing nothing to a battleground (GY AFK) has a Chinese name.

Both playerbases are very different and there is conflict because of this.

Okay, so I have a constant latency of 350-400 and I am Australian, you saying that I cannot play because I have a massive ping and I make the server lag?

I don't think so and your argument is mute, so please refrain from being racist in the future.

You're just one of those SJW types who thinks everything is about race. Spoiler alert pinko, this isn't a race issue! This is about a group of players that are detrimental to the community because they outright refuse to have anything to do with people outside of their nationality, they do not speak english (speaking english in general channels is required, but this rule has not been upheld by the GMs), and they are generally toxic in many other ways that I could go on about in a wordy 78 page essay.

Australians are a minority so you are not a problem. The problem is the some 4000 new players with 250-500 ms ping creating server lag. Let me explain it simply for you guys who haven't worked in IT in the private sector for 10 years like I have : Many clients with high latency = Extra server stress and instability. I also helped operate a popular Battlefield 2 server by the name of Robert Reed's House of A.I.D.S. (Pestgaming) and implemented a system that autokicked any player above 200 MS, for we knew that high ping users were a detriment to server playability.

This is correct.

To the person you quoted: Lately, the server is suffering from instability issues due to overpopulation. I raid during NA prime time, and ever since the huge influx of Chinese players, enormous lag and crashes have become a nightly occurrence, disrupting my guild's raids. Furthermore, these people, for the most part, cannot speak English on a server whose sole official language is English. If you cannot identify that issue, then you are incredibly shortsighted.

The language barrier is a pretty huge problem. Leveling up lately is a nightmare, as zones are infested with people whom you cannot communicate with. And it's not stopping. More and more people are flooding into the server. The server can handle around ten thousand people without suffering too much, but now we're exceeding 12,000 online players. If things continue down this path, the server will turn into an online version of Beijing. The "smog" (pollution caused by too many people and too much industry) will blot out everything, giving you only a few feet of visibility. Don't believe me? Draw distance in crowded areas is so awful, you have to run right up to an NPC before it loads.

If all the people logged on during regular raid hours causes crashes, then raiding suddenly becomes a lot less appealing. Crash and lost that DFT? Tough shit if you didn't already loot it to somebody, screenshot the ID, the person receiving the loot, and submitting a photocopy of your birth certificate with an official loot refund form signed in triplicate.

This is the exact same issue as the herb respawn behaviour, except much worse. If you're new to the server, you probably have no idea how awful the herb prices were. Too many people (Chinese mafias, anyone?) were farming the herbs, and because of increased demand, their prices relentlessly climbed. A stack of Plaguebloom cost about 10-20g in retail, depending on the server and how big its raid scene was. On Nost, they reached 60g. I also saw Black Lotus (15g per on retail?) go as high as 110-120g each. This was caused purely by overpopulation. Recently, they implemented additional spawn points and dynamic respawns, and the prices, while still higher than retail, have bottomed out.

We already have a thread regarding it, so I can understand why they delete superfluous ones. Most posts on this issue violate their racism policy, anyway.
