I love Vanilla so far, just want to be able to follow VGuide and not get gang banged by 2-5 horde of level every 5 minutes. Lol kinda sucks, least PvP deaths don't degrade equipment.

So party up with people.

Oh no, you may have to go off guide and do some quests that the little box telling you how to play the game doesn't explicitly command you to do?
This is a MMORPG, be social, go off the beaten path.
I'm sorry that the high pop "that you love" aren't NPCs for you to mindlessly command to do your quests for you and be your personal bodyguards.

Be less rigid, be social, make some friends.
Or stay strictly to your guide, alienate those around you, and continue to get farmed by the Horde.

Ya sounds rough. Hitting the numlock key and maneuvering back to your corpse.

There's literally no penalty to dying in this game. I would cringe at some of these peoples responses to actually having to deal with exp loss on death or item loot PVP.

Alright Mr.Passive Agreesive, I have gone off the beaten path and met a few people questing now. But when I'm running solo, not familiar with classic, and want something streamline as a guide to get me from level to level to level with easy quests that give a shit ton of xp. Then yes I'm going to follow a guide. Commenting like you know me or something.

Additionally to your first quote you took from me, most people that are running around are Chinese OR speak very broken English or none at all. Kind of hard to party up with people that you can't communicate with.

But yes the 8k to 13k maximum that I've seen the server be at few nights ago is extremely rough, I see more horde leveling in later levels then I see Alliance running around. So grouping up with fellow Ally is 1 harder to do, 2 the language barrier, and 3 the zones I might be in might not have Ally questing at the time I'm playing/or be on the same quests I am. It also is a issue for server load when it gets above 7k~, server wide lag starts to occur for everyone and the higher the pop goes the more lag appears. So hopefully they can come up with a solution without killing Nostalrius as a whole.

Oh when I get higher level and some gear I'll definitely roam around and do world PvP, but when I'm leveling I'm not much for ganking or such things, I focus on leveling and that's it, leveling takes long enough as is.

It just sucks is all to run long distances back to your body. Cata-Live there are a lot more GY's now, so when you die it's literally 20 seconds or less to get to your body. All this post was is for some laughs and to see if people have similar or worse cases than me running back to their body, not for condescending people like yourself.

And I played a game that had XP loss on death, its rough when you die in those games. But personally I'd never play a pvp game with item loss (I've played DayZ mod and stuff, but I consider that different imo). If this had pvp loot and such then I would just steer clear and play on another PS of a different expansion level.

Anyhow have fun being a dick on other posts :).

But I do know you. I knew from your first few posts that you were used to having every quest handed to you in a neat little package that required no intelligence/research/teamwork to do. Or to put it in your words:
killa162 wrote:I want something streamline as a guide to get me from level to level to level with easy quests that give a shit ton of xp.

Of course, why would I expect anything less from a huntard named "killa162"? It's your kind that ruined WoW, demanding everything be "streamlined from level to level with easy quests that give a shit ton of xp."

Why are you even playing Vanilla? Did daddy stop paying for your retail sub?

Edit:
I didn't even finish your post, my god.

Are you serious or did I just bite the trollbait harder than I ever have?
If this whole post wasn't a joke: Kid, you have so much corpse-running in your future.

No I pay for my own sub, plenty old enough for that, but I quit retail and wanted to play vanilla and I knew it was going to be like it is, the entire reason I came here. Just because I want a guide doesn't mean I'm the kind that ruined WoW. I started during Wrath and loved it, didn't use a guide, etc. The only guides I used were youtube boss fight guides and guides on min maxing my bis gear and rotation. Other then that I quested with quest helper which wasn't even a guide. And I don't mind grouping up with others like I said, the amount of English speaking players I come across at the time I play are slim. And I been using killa162 as my username handle for a ton of different things, since I was a teen and just never changed it since I'm use to registering with that name, plus if anyone remembers the name then it's done it's job. Usernames are things that most of the time are created when you're a kid, I stuck with it and don't mind keeping it for years to come. I don't want easy quests, I just want guides so I can get to max level and experience the end game(if I'm grouped with others I'll just freely quest and not follow the guide, but if I'm solo I use the guide so I don't have to think about where to go next, I just play the game, its chill to me to play like that), I'm a person that hates the questing experience of any MMO, lot more others just like me out there. I like the difficult raiding content and PvP, not leveling, so if there's an efficient way to level to max of course I'm going use the guide, nothing really bad about that. If you like questing then great, go ahead and grind away in the zones, me I want to get to max and play the part of the game I think is fun. And yes I was serious, the Gy distances in classic are brutal, they were somewhat close to this in Wrath or if not the same. But dying one or 2 times is alright, but when its getting camped or etc then yeah it grows on you, I bet it would grow on you too. Don't act like you're any different on that perspective.

There's a reason why Nostalrius gets much more online attention than project 1999 does. Vanilla WoW is streamlined yet still challenging enough to be interesting, that good medium point. EverQuest 99 is the real hard game of the past, that people would ragequit after the 3rd death.
