To answer question. No, everyone does not have 1sec delay and many people from USA and other parts of the world play. It may not be perfect but if you take into consideration that its free and that there is only one server located in EU with 10k players online I would say, preeeeeetty damn close.

Bruh it's less than 1s delay, if you could get over yourself and see how awesome the game is, you'd quickly realize that small delay is a small price for what you get to play and be apart of. in my opinion the delay isn't noticeable after playing here for months. Peak times when there's 13k online you will experience some lag, but it's still playable.

I'm only playing rogue and warrior, suck on my Johnson bro. Yeah there's a small, sososo small delay playing from USA for you and I both, but even as a meele, all you have to do is play slightly different to make sure you don't get kited and doomed by the latency and opponent taking advantage of it. Soon as you start fighting, you stay on top of the target, not behind or in front, literally on the target and you won't get kited. I know it sounds crazy difficult but like you said I'm just not that good........ lol your inability to adapt or unwillingness just shows you're not here for the same reason everyone else is.

The fact you brought up retail like its some type of alternative just because there's no lag there lmao. Bruh none of us play retail because it's garbage. The problem is not the server, is you and your geoposition. You connect from NA to a EU server. From this point of viewn, you are the one With the 3rd World connection. I have no big las issues

I pretty much NEVER had anything above 0.5 seconds of server side delay

Anyway, I'm from Spain, a country near to France. Of course I noticed some lag issues, but are minimum. Do not affect the gameplay and are not bigger as in other private servers. And believe me, I have a pretty damn good connection (optical fiber). I normally have a 10-20 ping in online games. And believe me, I'm a purist about this issue. But I also played in my borther's house, who has a normal connection, and the lag, again, is minimum. So, if I keep playing in Nost PvP server is because the lag is minimum and does not affect negatively to the gameplay. Indeed, I remind similar lag in the official servers 10 years ago.

Everyone is saying to you: The problem is your connection, not the server.

And be respectful, I understand that a guy like you cannot say idiot to someone in real life because probably will have fear of being beaten or something similar, but this does not allow you to insult people on the internet.

And probably he hasn't donated anything. These people are the first to complain on the forums, but the last to donate or help developers. They have a free WoW Vanilla server, a kind of server that Blizzard does not offer, and they play it, but they do not contribute economically and above require that everything goes perfect. They do not have empathy, they do not understand the devs do this job per free, do not have the Blizzard's resources, they only receives the donations of the people who want to help in order to improve the server. To make matters worse, they are disrespectful when someone says something contrary to their ideas.

The delay of up to one second is server side, not client side or due to latency from your ISP. There are four other 1.12.1 servers hosted out of EU that I've tested from NA. None of them have this delay present. The short of it is, Nostalrius' hardware is just plain stressed, or their server core code has issues.

Play here if you want, or don't. The delay has been around since one month into launch and it's not leaving anytime soon.

The latency is fine. 140 ms for NA is fine. The thing causing the delay, is the overpopulation of the realm during about 4 pm ST.
