I reckon it would serve Nost well to avoid the potential for such shit storms in the future, though, no? Just tweak the procedure to be sensible... like, server-wide announcement several times over a span of 2-3 days when you make a decision that X is in fact a bannable exploit, prior to banning anyone for it... seems like common sense tbh.

Free Silithus Miners! They literally mined a fully blizzlike node and got perma banned for it, while these guys committing an obvious abuse (granted a blizzlike abuse) get unbanned. What the hell is that?

I think we all ought to show our appreciation to how Viper and Nostalrius handled the 'tuber controversy' in the end. It's very nice to see that they can reconsider and show some serious and well-needed consideration for people who, without a doubt, were wrongly banned.

The guys that have a "Last Warning" from repeated abuse of bugs/exploits shouldn't have been banned.

i ll refrain from some statements i made last days thinking nostalrius was somehow going into the same rail as other prjects (feenix).

I must say im surprised to finally see viper in action and he played up to what was expected, a fair sanction ( a warning) and not an abusive measure coming from other players who just feed their insignificant existance in trying to ban others.
