The amount of hate on this forum is ridiculous people should get permabanned for a bug that the devs themselves implemented? a temporary ban and removal of the item sure but perm? No it shouldnt be perm due to the fact it was the devs fault for not testing it completely and whats with this hate on chinese players? They are players like you or I just because they speak a different language than us doesnt make you any better.

The patch was tested and went live on the 21st without any issues. Server refresh made the code go wonky on the 24th. And I'm not on the Chinese hate bandwagon but I've been around MMORPGs long enough to know the majority are cancer.

Blaming chinese and russians is easy if you want to hide your own incompetence . Best done in BG's. I mean its not like 90% of the players of any nationality or race are bad at their class or immature or that 1% of any race or nationality are industrial farmers, Im quite confident that it is about the color of the passport .

Every bug ever is technically always the devs fault, which is why Nost/Blizzard and pretty much any dev team ever have been forced to make rules against bug abuse. Rules which can end up with perm bans.
Nostalrius doesn't gain anything from having cheaters/abusers around unlike the majority of game companies, so they might as well do harsh punishments in order to minimize the abusing drastically.
Just look at retail in the past few years and see what softhanded GMs gets you.

The GM's should just seriously remove every herb/ore from people's inventory from the time the bug was around till it was fixed (i assume its fixed now?) When you have the power to do that, why ban people?

Was something done to prevent big influx of arcane crystals/black lotuses at market ? Farming crystals is my main source of income, I wont be happy if they drop in price because of this bug
