Meh i think they should cap it, for it would give a bigger incentive for people to go play on the 2nd pvp realm, beacuse who wants to wait in a queue of 4k ppl... They need a cap anyway, because at the time of writing this, there's 12,8 ppl online. FFS npcs don't even load properly, u see ppl come into your field of view when they're so close to you, the view distance is dreaful and every action has a 1+ second delay. Just played a WSG and it was terrible. Half the team was moaning about the delay. Grats to melee classes i guess lol, OUT OF RANGE; OUT OF RANGE; OUT OF RANGE. Though I think Chinese is not the problem. Chinese students are now on vocation and the Chinese New Year is coming. I believe we will see 15K+ in one or two weeks, cheers and be prepared.

I'm not going to deny that there are population/lag issues on this server, but believe it or not, it used to be WORSE in june-august.

I still remember the massive lag after 6 PM and the constant server crashes that happened like every 15-30 min. it was barely possible to raid back then, and a lot of loot was lost as a result of those crashes. At least from a PvE / raid perspective the game is a lot more playable (save from some stupid shit like Nef not landing properly due to limited draw distance)

Having that said though, I am kinda worried that the upcoming World bosses will be impossible to kill due to lag / draw distance issues.....

I don't care much about the NPCs loading or not. At least not compared to not having 40 people online at raidstart rather than sitting in a BS queue. Where every minute of queue cost 40 min collective raidtime and lead to gquits and "taking breaks".

I'd be fairly ok with a queuesystem that allowed raiders to bypass it (for example having killed nefarian = no queue) but then people will complain that it isn't fair so I'd rather just avoid a queue altogether. Especially on a server where the #1 way of battling this, calling a friend and have them log you in, is punished with a permaban rather than not having a punishment asociated with it.

If players realized that a queue is a much bigger problem for raiders than your average non-raider and got behind exempting them I'd be amazed, no, absolutely blown away.
