Fresh start vs old characters (come in)

I would like to see both the old and a new realm opened. Any char under 60 on the old realm could be transfered to the new realm, and the old realm was kept for the 60's and anyone else who choose to stay there.

Definetly both. They basically robbed us of SO MUCH play time with the shutdown already....
The only way to restore faith is to make both happen.

some people are close to hitting r14 or r10 imagine the server goes back up and ur lvl 1 again. fuck me dead

Still entirely preferable to getting an entire year of invested time erased for absolutely no reason...

and id assume thats why most of the members of nostalrius are asking for it to be rolled back to the date of the announcement of the cnd letter, since databases are constantly saved and stored to ensure there is no loss of data for anyone on the server.

All of those "fresh server" voters have no idea how many days / months played time some people put into nost and TRUSTED nost with this.
Make 1 new and 1 old server. problem solved or let the "fresh server" people go to the PVE server.

theres like one or two people who just keep saying it over and over if you read through the posts, there arent that many who actually want a fresh start...

The majority who do either didn't play here at all and aren't actually a part of the community, just looking out for themselves and trying to put themselves on an even playing field with those who have invested 100's of hours here.
(which is pretty messed up since they are asking to deleted hundreds of thousands of accounts for their own personal gain)

Or barely played here at all and so have nothing to lose and everything to gain from it... which again is extremely messed up.

This is easily verifiable through realmplayers and their forum accounts... as this thread has shown the nostalrius community overwhelmingly want their characters back, and to continue their journey on this awesome server as they have for the past year.

Starting with the old characters will feel like going back to an x-girlfriend, seems like a good idea but it is not.

I'd go to ex-gf if I had no sex for 7 months. Just saying...
