Uhmm, I was not sure wether to post or not, because it seems that many people in here are a tiny little ignorant. But well, what can you lose.

Of course it have the right to close a streamer who promotes a private server running their own game. What in the world makes some people think that they somehow own this game? It's not just because they lose money from the loss of players migrating to this server (and yes, of course the lose money. Probably nothing compared to the big picture, but still).

Don't get me wrong, I still love to play vanilla wow here, but if Blizzard went after streamers and the server itself (witch I am sure won't happen), then I'l be fine with it. It's still their game even though some french people have decided to broadcast it for free to the world without having contributed to the making of the game itself.

Make a new stream. But grow up and don't be mad if it gets shut down.

I for one am glad that Blizzard shuts down streams. It makes me SICK that people would so blatantly flaunt their ability to play something that isn't Warlords of Draenor, Blizzards BEST expansion to date. From now on, I'll be personally reporting any streamers who are disrespecting all of Blizzard's hard work and creativity with Ashran, arena balancing, faction balancing, garrisons, non-PvE related content, ect.

But first, it's called a subscription for a reason. You're buying the right to play on their server, not the game itself. Second, people are probably not paying their subscribtion now, are they?

I do feel for people who are getting caught by this but at the end of the day, this is piracy and streaming it is promoting a pirate version of their product. I respect them for looking the other way when it comes to veterans who play on Nostalrius, but when you're actually streaming it there is a difference. You are not paying for their product so you have no rights over it. Sorruh.

Piracy is theft of property. The topic at hand is about someone who is displaying their experiences while using software that is interacting with emulation software which may or may not infringe on the copyright ownership of Blizzard Entertainment.

Indeed you pay a subscription to play on their SERVERS. I do understand that. But im still allowed to play on another server with the game copy ive BOUGHT, i own vanilla wow therefor im allowed to use it.

Its not illegal to play on a private server in EU, aslong as you bought the original copy from Blizzard... and dont make any money of their product.. obv

Don't get me wrong i like watching Nos streams sometimes, but we have many people playing here all ready.
Now imagine if Blizzard allowed everyone to stream Nostalrius.
