How i got screwed over by my guild (rant, tips for newbies)

This is what you get when you think that getting drunk is cool. I bet you logged in, announce to whole guild you were drunk (and maybe high). The responses from the officers "it is a matter of you and him" are not really "fuck you" responses. Your first post is trash. Both you and the recipient of the gold are dushbags. Feel sorry for both.

That's also very kind of you. I won't repost the names of the people who was in this drama. But you will post it, so not only do you leave a huge post with the guilds name saying an officer was a jerk although he was never an officer. Then you also name the people who were involved for aditional hate when we all know it was your fault. You traded 1500 g to a person in the guild without saying anything, and then you say that that person is a scumbag cause he didn't save all of that 1500g so you couldn't get it back the first thing the next morning. Excuse me but this is not anywhere close the warriors fault neither the honest officers at the guild this is your fault and god damnit do you make yourself look worse by posting the guilds name and those involveds name, when the only one at fault is you and only you

I assume you are one of the honest officers in the guild? The story has been told, i guess everyone can share their version now, and of course i'll be outnumbered because i'm 1 and you're 50, but none of that matters, since we know what happened, and damage can't be undone, this is purely a cautionary tale for the trusting people playing on the server on how to avoid mistakes i made and dump dozens of gameplay hours down the drain.

Everybody involved is at fault now.

OP for jokingly trading 1500g to a person he does not know very well and did take the trade as serious.
The other player who after learning it was a joke did not return the remaining gold.
The guild officers who stepped back and said this is between you and him. Offered solutions but did not take immediate actions.

Playing on nostalrius for me is about having fun, otherwise, what's the point?

Surely the person that has your gold must have a guilty conscience.. If it were me I would have given it back straight away, wouldn't be able to play every day with the knowledge I've contributed to ruining a fellow human being's fun in playing vanilla WoW..

My heart goes out to you OP. But don't give up! Life is full of up and downs and in a few months/years youll probably laugh about this!

Funny he doesn't give the player name, just guild name.. sounds like he has something against the guild. And he lied about that player being officer and he admitted to being drunk... Dude, you don't deserve the money back!
