It really depends. I level with my fiance on one character, and alone on others. The leveling process feels faster with a partner (also makes leveling a healer less of a headache to basically always have a body guard). The problem you can run into is just having the time to both play together. If you're going to do this, make sure it's with someone that runs on the same, or at least similar schedule you do, and wants to/can put in the same time to level. Nothing sucks more than starting to level with a partner, and 20 levels in they fizzle out and leave you on your own, especially if you've made a class/spec type that doesn't solo well.

It's only worth lvling with a friend 1-60 if you have your penis out at all times. You cannot possibly hope to accomplish anything unless penis is out. You'll get corpse camped by murlocs and Kel'Thuzad. Penis out.
