Blizzlike = Things works like Blizzard in Game but modified Terms of Use and Game Rules. Simple as that. The Game Master is correct here.

Even the content isnt Blizzlike as it is. There are many good examples starting with:

and many more. I mean if they change the advertising to "not quite blizzlike" i will shutup but since I will then know what to expect.

If you find something not working like it should, you are very much encouraged to report it on the bug tracker, volunteer for the ISVV team because they sure can use all the help they can get, confirm your bug report and help the developers fix the issue.

I would like to add that complaining on the forums about how you thought this private server ran by volunteers and hobbyists was going to be 100% working as intended, is not helping anyone.

I'd also like to point out that you did a great job bringing up a different issue i.e. not working content while trying to find an excuse for your forum thread about GMs not refunding lost loot.

If any of these things are really an issue to you, I suggest you help the Nostalrius staff by reporting bugs. Or if you can't be bothered with that I suggest you stop replying in this thread and forget you ever made it.


As a final note, if you're really this upset about Nostalrius advertising their private server as blizzlike when it is not 100% perfect (which I doubt since your original topic wasn't even about this), then I would suggest you to get a grip on reality because you are clearly living in some ridiculous universe where private servers are totally working perfectly and owe you something.

So they gave you responses as to why you don't get item restoration and you went on a rant about bugs. They respond to your complaints about bugs, but you say you don't care about that.

The bottom line is still the same, deal with it. You don't like the definition of Blizzlike here, find another place that better suits your needs.

It's two issues -

One it's a hassle to the GMs as it requires extra man power

Two it requires GMs having the ability to give items to players. All it takes is one corrupt GM for server drama to happen.

GMs have already given top guilds on the server items that aren't even patched in game yet or atleast that's the rumors ... secondly that is blizz like if a player accidentally needed you couldn't trade to another player in grp even in retail til TBC ... yea sometimes gms would help in this kind of happening but nostalrius doesn't have the manpower right now to handle all these request ... so pew pew less and just becareful on rolling and who you pick as masterlooters

they're just being lazy. they dont even restore quest items you cannot obtain after losing them that have no sale value because "greetings. we do not restore any lost items"
