Just created a toon on Valk and did a /who Org. Found 16 people. Might not be peak time, but that seems a little too low pop imo. Who knows, I'll keep an eye on it.

valkyrie used to be popular , but every one since went to emerald dream, then to nostalrius. regardless its pointless to playo n elysium at the moment because they will wipe the server soon to get ready for nost re launch

From where are all these uninformed people coming from?
Ofcourse Elysium is currently dead, thats because they "froze" their servers untill Nostalrius will be reborn there.
By frozen it means that any progress anyone does there at the moment will be reverted back to the day the server got "frozen".
So don't expect any serious activity there untill Nostalrius will re-launch over there..

People need to stop the complaining. This is the best of a bad situasion. Dont hype it up, dont rage on it. Lets just see how this goes. Its us! The community. We are the once that can keep this alive. Be stong guys and girls!

You looked at the wrong server. Elysium had 1100 players online yesterday when I checked, despite people knowing the server is frozen.

Guys... elysium was dead before the "frozen" it has 300-500 players, but it doesnt matter guys we have Nostalrius 2.0 with another name and almost the same Devs, dont care if elysium its death or not, kronos was death before the nostalrius close and then they get 7k players in a day

Although we are a competing server, this wasn't met with glee or joy at all. We're sad and even a bit angry at Blizzard, actually. However, no one can actually destroy Nostalrius' legacy - not any time soon. Neither Valkyrie nor Kronos nor other vanilla WoW servers will back down - we'll keep going on. We're in the business of making Blizzard realize with dismay that the best WoW - the TRUE WoW - was vanilla back in 2006. Vanilla is here to stay, and so are we. Valkyrie-WoW administration sends their condolences to Nostalrius' players and wishes to congratulate Nost's team for a job well done. Most people who had decently geared characters will probably return to the original PvP server, as their guilds are likely to do the same. There does seem to be a big amount of new people joining and being particularly active on forums and such, but I highly doubt the fresh server will have 2-3x the population of the old ones as the polls currently indicate. There should be enough population to support all 3 servers anyway. I certainly don't intend to start over when I had been waiting for months to get into AQ, and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same.
