Why do people comment when they have no clue of what the PvE server is like. you can have people at all the hot spots LIKE Neutral cities (at flight points, entrances to towns, at dungeon entrances, ect. ....................................................................................

Well it's pretty obvious that a lot of players on the PvP server are simply frustrated by the current situation on their server and simply can't stand the fact that there is a healthy populated, lagless server, which they don't want to play on.

I don't blame anyone for not wanting to play on a PvE server, it's everyone's choice. But desperately trying to make that server look bad with wrong statements is not gonna improve your own situation.

edit: Oh and everytime I see some kids in the PvP server forum raging at each other in a language that doesn't have much to do with English, I'm even happier to not have rolled there.

I just started on a PVE server a few days ago and honestly, so far I could not be happier. Except one a-hole that dragged mobs on me in order to snag to quest mob, everyone I encountered was beyond friendly and helpful. Ended up running a couple of groups for harder/long quest chains, everyone was super friendly and made sure everyone in the group got whatever they needed from the quest before moving on.

I don't care about PVP, so I can see how not being always flagged can be a turn-off, but in terms of sheer social factor..yeah, so far better than my live experience.

The PvE server as well as a great bunch of friends saved my gaming; I have been wanting to enjoy Vanilla for years, but other servers never did manage to get me to settle down. (Low population, PvP. etc.)

As for the community; I have found it to be far more friendly on the PvE server than the PvP one. (but granted I only levelled to about 30 on the PvP server before the announcement of the PvE server came out)

First let me say, the PvP server is overpopulated but you should roll on whichever server suits you best.

Listen...the most hardcore players will always roll on a PvP server. And this is not meant to offend or antagonize, but a PvE server is for care bears. These are people who want to level solo (and of course sometimes maybe with friends) and never be interrupted by world PvP. This is more than fine and it also leads to PvE servers being much more friendly because they are filled with like-minded people just looking to safely level and enjoy the game. While on the PvP server, they are looking to stir up suspense and drama through PvP or whatever else to make the game as fun and interesting as possible.

Questing and mindlessly farming mobs can only bring you so much cringe whilst leveling.

I think that if community is your priority, PvE is the safest way to go.

I quite like PvP since it's much more challenging than fighting the AI. Your reaction time needs to be fast, you duel an ever-adapting enemy, and the room for innovation (no clear cookie-cutter pvp build or gear set) allows for creativity.

The issue though, is that the people who are all into this, tend to be... less pleasant than the person who enjoys playing alone for a while vs the AI and lend a hand to the fellow next to him.

You can't have everything. If I got a community of people that are polite and mature but also like to tinker with PvP builds (at 60 I mean, not mindlessly griefing lowbies) I'd be entirely delighted, but since you never get everything, one must make do :)
