Cheap sites are springing up all over the place claiming they'll revive Nost. They're just fishing for account information people. You're creating a login on their site, which, if it's the same as your Nost account, can be used on whatever server revives those accounts. It's setting up a quick disaster for a server reviving our accounts. Users will be full of theft right away because of this. So if the site looks like a piece of shit, don't make an account there...

At the very least I think Nost should start banning and deleting threads related to these services. I've spoken to a handful of people and they thing this Vanilla.re and all this other shit is like legit Nost 2.0. They have no idea and are going to get fucked over.

There seems to be significant problems in the community right now. People are being conned on the unofficial Nost reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/Nostalrius/ into believing that "Vanilla.re - Taking over Nostalrius Database" when it's just a bunch of nonsense.

The Nost staff should really clear up some misconceptions before the community fractures over being misled, scammed or worse.

LoL Creep, they locked the thread you commented on with a bit of critic and calling them out. Instead of giving honest answers which they cannot give. The founder of the site hasn't been heard from in at least a day. Also the first thread that was created there was: "Link your character here". All the pieces are coming together. I just hope I'm wrong cause I gave my login info to the forums.
