While posting in non-english in public channels is against the rules, trying to police /china seems silly and I doubt they would ever do it.

Changing the password is obviously 10/10 on the trolling meter.

The downside is ofc that the coordinating effort to find a new channel will by necessity take place in the other public channels and in Chinese. Under the circumstances it is unlikely to be policed. So I'd think it counterproductive for anything but trolling.

Just what exactly is a "public channel"? If you have to know the name and /join a channel is it public? Are we sure they were not referring to Trade or General in this statement?

In order to prevent people like Matt from trolling so many others, we could make /China a public channel, so no one player could seize control of it. Then ban everybody who speaks something other than English in the channel.
