1- what was the function of meeting stones in vanilla ?
-For most, they just marked the location of a dungeon. They were totally useless for forming groups. Always funny seeing newbs ask why they don't teleport us here. It's obvious as growing grass they never played Classic.
2- how did seal of righteousness work in vanilla ?
-Just holy dmg per swing. Pretty sure it still did this after Classic.
3- what was famous world pvp zone ?
-That's debatable. Some people will say nessys, but most "famous" is probably Hillsbrad.
4- what spec was played mostly by priests ?
-Also debatable. Alliance has better Holy while Horde has better shadow. Really is a biased question.
5- what was the famous meme for hunters ?
-Don't know this. Maybe I never saw it. All loot is Hunter loot?
6- what was called paladins in vanilla ?
-Retnewbs? Bubbledins? Again it depends on who you ask.
7- where was leeroy jenkins event recorded ?
-Obviously UBRS. And I bet most don't know it was scripted for the video, not unpredicted.
8- how was the weather in vanilla ?
-The same as it was after Classic. It's either day, night, or rainy, not much else.
9- which mob was called chuk norris and where he stood ?
-Don't know of any such mob. Maybe I never saw it. I wonder if anyone got the references on the Hunter demon names.
10- what was most cheating spot to kill world bosses ?
-I never bothered with these, and won't here either, so don't know, don't care.

There's much better things you could have brought up, like what was the original 31p Hunter Survive talent... or how did Soul Link originally function...

This whole post is based off your experience in Vanilla from the server you played on. Your questions/answers are not the same experiences other Vanilla players had.

2. No one who played horde specifically will probably know how the original SoR worked, nor would they probably care to know since it doesn't affect them in any way.

3. The most famous world PVP zone for example... it was never Crossroads on a PVE server. Granted some people did invade Crossroads due to the lower level guards there, but the most "famous" was Hillsbrad, hands down.

6. Paladins were called buffbots on my server. It looks like a lot of your answers are based off a PVP server perspective. They were also often used as out of combat ressers.

10. Must have been just your server, because no world bosses lived long enough to get kited to any major city on mine.

Questions such as these are more factual and less player experience:

"What was the original limit on how many players could zone into Scholomance simultaneously?" 40, then 10, then 5.

scholomance was 10 , it was meant to be raid one for 20 but they decide to leave it as 10 limit and count as 5man.
Even today Scholomance is limited for 10 people .

well it's not based of my experience sadly , it is good question for those like you that had no clue what it used to be vanilla sadly . Your experience is only swallowed from google and the reason why for you "pve" different from "pvp" server .

No, it wasn't. There was no "cap" except the number of people you could have in a raid, which was 40. Clearly you are the one who has no idea what they are talking about. It was changed to 10 man in 1.3.0. Start citing sources other than your own opinion, because you're "word" is not fact.

wowwiki wrote:All dungeons now have a cap on group size to limit the number of players that may enter the dungeon. It was necessary to add this cap as raiding these dungeons trivialized much of the content. Because of this change we can now look to adding better loot to them during future content patches.

With that in mind, the dungeons below now have the following caps:

Onyxia/Molten Core - 40 members
Blackrock Spire - 15 members
Diremaul - 5 members
All other dungeons in the game will be capped at 10 members.Several dungeons will be re-examined for balancing in light of thischange. In addition, will have their loot improved significantly for the next content patch.

The next time you play your "knowledge" off as fact, as you do on numerous occasions in the Paladin forums, have some documentation to back it up. And who the hell do you think you are trying to tell me how my own Vanilla experience or how anyone else's was. You're nothing more than a pretentious snob.

The idea behind your post was interesting and could have been fun, until you cast aside anyone who disagrees with you and tell them they're people who never played in Vanilla. Your attitude is pathetic. Grow up and stop being so egotistical.

first of all , searching for some "patch notes" that can be found on google does not give you or approve your knowledge about vanilla .

second of all the question i ask was based of vanilla famous times during 1.6 - 1.12.1 patch

third of all before you attack with me with your "pathetic" google knowledge , you would already known all the answers instead attacking me with your "pathetic" attitude.

now i will let you to study a little :

The patch notes is on an archived page of Blizzards original website for World of Warcraft.

Your post is generalized and did not specifically state 1.6 -1.12.1, had it said that that would be a different story entirely. Don't assume people know you only want answers during those specific time periods because a lot of people played prior to that.

You came at me first by telling me I have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to Vanilla. Don't try to play the victim when you tell everyone off and assume they are "wrath babies" or "people who googled" who disagrees with you. And you think I "googled" up an archived page, please... -_-.

Anyway, I've have enough with this thread. Good day.
