People should realize that Blizz is forgiving because you are giving them your hard earned cash. The worst you can get is a slap on the wrist and told you should be ashamed. Quite frankly that is BS. Learn that you should live with the consequence of your actions.

You're not that smart. Dynamic respawn was applied on Monday. This bug just happened today. Sometimes these things happen when patches like this are applied. This was a change that was asked for thousands of times by the playerbase by the way.

How will the economy ever recover from this?

It'll recover by banning the players, exactly like last time and the time before that. Players should know better than to spam on a node that never goes away.

Just delete all of the herbs / mining material in their inventory. Next time give them a temp ban. This is not game breaking exploit. It's not like they're intentionally crashing the server for fun, or hacking into someone elses account. THESE would warrant perma bans. Having more herbs than others is minor, not major.

Most people know damn well they'd take all they could if they could get away with it. Stop acting like you're innocent at heart.

Perma banning for such a minor exploit is idiotic on a major level.

well, there are people who don't login every day ;)
however, smarter poeple knew this was an obvious bug. but on the other point of view people could assume it's related to an intended patch. on top of it, some innocent people got banned too..

i'm just sad that the devs still don't use their test realms and instead throwing their bugged code on the live server...

I blame the testers for not testing it enough and hiding major exploits from the staff.
