Hello, guys

Sorry for my bad Eng, but I need to reply this topik, and I hope Nost team will consider my arguments

Personally for me me it doesn't mater if there will be fresh start or not - I have 800sph resto dru with tonn of money and full bank of all types of consumablest. BUT I'm guild master and I'm needed to worry about my guild mates. When Nost was closed, I'll be forced to re-move y guild to K2. Some of my guild mates were decided not to play, but there were a lot of newcomers also. In result I found a lot of new friends and raiders on K2 server. Once specific thing, that I need to talk about - my guild is for FE-Sib of RU time zone, so population of players in this region is a bit low

If there will be old DB on Nost some of old players will come and some not, but my mates from K2, who don't have char on Nost, must be start from begining. In result half of my guild will be 60 bis geared and another half will be needed to make fresh start and that will be awfull. I think such issue will affect all guilds and many of GM's will agree with me

According to above I'd like to recomend two solutions
1. Frest start. Most ppl says: ugh, I'm so tired to lvl-up my char. I'm 27 years old, have regular job, pregnant wife and gym trainings, and even me have 3-4 hours per day to lvl up my char. I lvled up it on K2 and it takes a month to catch up 60 lvl. As for geared and hardcore players, lvl up is super easy, casue they already know how to deal with it. As for casual - this is your chance to start from "clean paper": try new class, avoid your previus mistakes, find new friends
2. Nost team will open server for new characters only for 1 month, and open server for all characters after. In that case old ppl will get their progress back, and newcomers will get their 60 to join their guildmates on new server

In any way, thank you Nost, waiting for you comes back

/clap

People screaming 'we don't wanna do MC again' fail to see the bigger picture.

Bigger picture = possible shutdown after another year of mc and bwl grind? umh ok, calling people short sighted in spite of what ALREADY HAPPENED with Nost is... well let me try to be polite... is weird O_o

Old server gives both sides a chance to play and have fun, old players get to jump into the fray asap so even if server closes for some reason (don't even try to pretend its not an option anymore) it leaves old vets with sense that atleast they got to progress a bit more this time and stepped into AQ or Naxx whatever, it didn't last but atleast we made it to another pit stop.

For fresh players, unless they are entitled whiners that demand leveled ground because they want to be special snowflakes I see no reason why they shouldn't start on old server, if server performance would be optimal (hopefully with clustering) old server offer more than wipe for everybody. If you wanna know why check my previous post from 7th page.

How can you even make that statement? do you have the statistics in front of you?

They should restart progression from the start as it was in November 23, 2004.

FYI: I have 2x60's that are not deleted, all gold and gear is intact.

Full shadowcraft rogue and devotion priest? :P Daaaaamn

p.s to honor the troll galore i'd say bring back server before it got any battlegrounds or honor system, so we all can enjoy idling in capital cities even more... erm experience TRUE VANILLA DAAWG :D

You probably won't take my opinion seriously, I did not previously have a level 60. I got to level 30ish before shutdown. But there were people in Naxx gear all over. Fresh progression would be preferable, because I don't fancy the idea of essentially getting boosted through MC etc.

I don't see much of a discussion here. You have to keep the old server because it wouldn't be right to hold back those players from accessing their characters if Nost is live. You also have to release a new realm because of the hype and all of the new players.

If they release, it's pretty unlikely in my mind that they won't release both. Unfortunately for all you people bitching about needing the old server to remain, you will be on the realm without the hype.
