i'm wondering where do i get chain quests for Vectus- scholomance boss,.. and also does he drop stuff even without that quest?

There is another quest chain which you need to do before you can actually get this quest: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?quest=4726

You can kill him without having the last quest of this chain and he will also dropp stuff.

Meanwhile I submitted a bug report about not being able to pickup a new dawn's gambit from Betina after completing the quest chain. It worked for a while, and now it's not working again. There has been no traction with this ticket:

i've killed vectus, he didnt drop anything. I guess i need the quest after all.

He sometimes doesn't drop anything, Keep trying.

anyone else unable to get any more dawn's gambits from the gnome out at LHC?

A lot of the time, only thing he drops is a Corrupter's Scourgestone...
