Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

This has only started happening the last few weeks, tried disabling any new addons but it hasnt helped

Certain spell effects- (the cloud from)hurricane, tranquility, entangling roots, front nova ice cluster, and even some non "spell" effects- like those little pitter patter splash effects that happen when you run through shallow water simply dont go away without a client restart

I can switch characters, accounts, come back hours later and theyre still there

I feel like Ive even had them persist through client restart before but Im not sure

Its generally not a big deal, but a bit annoying sometimes.. but about the same time I did start noticing seemingly unrelated choppiness sometimes, for no apparent reason

Curious if anyone has experience with this.
I suppose my next steps would be deleting addons/settings and reinstalling, but it would seem strange for an addon to affect the client this way

I did already redeleted wdb folder, no change

last resort ofc, reinstalling client

But I figure I should ask advice before I get drastic ^^

close your client and rename wtf and interface folders.

if that helps rename it back, disable all addons and then go through them one by one until you found the addon which causes it.

A guildie just started playing on a different computer, with no mods(away for holidays) and has the exact same bug on a new install

In my case I was 60 for a while before it started..
