Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi all,

I am currently level 41 and I am loving the server, It s been like 2 months or more since I started playing here and It is taking me a lot of time to get to 60 as I work a lot and I dont have too much time. I am "scared" that by the time I reach 60 in maybe another 2 months the server will start loosing people as they already did everything / move to tbc* server, which I would also like to do but after I squeeze Vanilla properly .

Do you think there are new starters / old players that will keep the server alive for minimum another 2 years? hopefully longer ?

You have more than enough time. The server is still progressing through the patches. Naxxramas will be released late 2016, and after that you will be able to copy your character to the new TBC server. That's the plan at least.

I would be surprised if Nostalrius PvP dies before 2020.

Sure, numbers will probably go down after progression is over. It might even dip slightly before that, but I just think that the vanilla community and the amount of curious players are to great for the server to just go empty within a 4 year time frame.

Reservation for legal troubles or a complete management breakdown. Both fairly unlikely.

As stated above, the population of Nostalrius pretty much guarantees that even if the numbers were to start falling today (which I have not seen any evidence of) It would take years for the server to die out.
